For patients looking for natural results! Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler that works to smooth away fine lines, wrinkles and folds. It can be used to smooth the lines around the mouth, as a lip enhancement, and to lift as well as add volume to the cheeks.
How long does the treatment last? - Restylane is a temporary treatment. Although effects are different from patient to patient, the results should last 6-9 months and 3-4 months in the lips. To maintain the result, we recommend touch-up treatments.
Is there downtime? – There is minimal downtime. You might experience swelling or bruising on injection site but it will subside. We recommend putting ice and massaging treated area(s). Results are immediate.
What are the side effects of Restylane? – You may experience side effects after your Restylane treatment, however, they will subside. You may experience swelling, itching, and pain/tenderness. We provide topical Arnica in office to help with bruising after your treatment.
Pre + Post Care
Before Treatment
Avoid Aspirin, Tylenol, or blood thinners. This may increase your chances of bruising.
Avoid Chemical peels or Laser treatments one week prior to your scheduled appointment.
Avoid Retinol and Retin-A.
After Treatment
Avoid sun exposure, heat exposure, and tanning beds.
Avoid alcoholic beverages.
Avoid strenuous exercise 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid wearing makeup.
