At Ecologica Medical Spa we provide Autologous Dermal Fillers with Plasma. Autologous Dermal Filler is the latest and most advanced procedure that benefits our patients with natural and long lasting results. Using your own tissue, we can create biological fillers to take back the hands of time non-surgically!

Autologous dermal filler is an injection treatment whereby a person’s own blood is used. A fraction of blood is drawn up from the individual. The blood is spun down in a special centrifuge to separate its components. Autologous dermal filler is then injected into the area to be treated. Platelets are very small cells in your blood that release natural growth factors which amplifies the healing process. Platelets release a number of enzymes to promote healing and tissue responses including attracting stem cells to repair damaged areas. Autologous dermal filler is a minimally invasive procedure that improves volume loss, dents, and irregularities. Generally, 3-4 treatments are advised, however, more may be indicated for some individuals.

What are the benefits of Autologous Dermal Fillers? - Along with the benefit of using your own tissue, therefore, eliminating allergies there is the added intrigue of mobilizing your own stem cells for your benefit. Autologous Dermal Fillers with Plasma has been shown to have overall rejuvenating effects and adds volume improving skin texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.

When will I see results? – You should see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas. Current data shows results may last 18-24 months with 3-4 consecutive treatments spaced one month apart. Of course, all individuals are different so there will be variations from one person to the next. Supplemental “touch up” treatments may be required to achieve and maintain optimal results.

What can I expect after treatment? – Immediately following the procedure, the most commonly reported temporary side effects are redness, swelling, bruising, and tenderness. Cold gel packs/ice may be gently applied immediately after treatment to reduce swelling.
